Hot Chocolate??

Who says "NO" to that???

The client who happens to have MY dream kitchen requested a hot chocolate bar and this is how we brought it all together.....

They melt in your mouth. Seriously! Why don't I have more??

The message "Love is sweet, please have a treat" is written on old silver platters that I found at a thrift store and painted with chalkboard paint. If you find a platter that you love but you notice that it has it's fair share of scratches, just paint over them and use it for something else. These would even work as chargers and you could even write the names of your guests on each one. Who doesn't love a built-in place card?? 

The tall canisters are perfect for cinnamon sticks, wafers, and candy canes. They are also from Crate & Barrel.

The little chalk board signs are actually beverage tags from Crate & Barrel that came with white paper inserts. I wanted chalk boards, so I cut some heavy duty paper to fit the little frames and painted it with the same chalkboard paint. I need to get some for my house now!

Pink roses and carnations from Summer's Garden (downtown peeps). Did you know that shorter stems equal longer lasting flowers?? Consider all my stems shortened!

It's the perfect time to set up a hot chocolate bar with little valentine treats!! 

Silver + Pink = Happy

This silver pedestal treat bowl from Pottery Barn was turned into a vase for the day. It's a very versatile and pretty little piece. Definitely worth the investment as a family heirloom and has a sweet little saying engraved along the edge, "family is belonging to and believing in each other"

I would ask for one for Valentines Day but I already asked for 100 other things and I may have exceeded my limit at this point....eeeeep! 

So what? I love a lot of things. Deal with it! :)
