Gray, White, and Pink

The layers of the office are coming together!!

I added some gray stripes (paint color: Polished Silver by Valspar)

You can see them a bit  better here....

Also on my favorite list is this non-typical, business card holder!
It's a vintage glove/scarf holder that I found at The Leggy Bird Designs, one of my favorite little shops located in downtown Libertyville, IL. I have actually wanted one for a long time and then there it was, right when I really needed it! I love it when that happens!

Let me not forget my most favorite pic of my little booger, Miss Bailey.

Her face a mess with delicious frosting from Linnea Bakery. As it always should be!

Sweet little white and gray chairs from Home Goods, only $99 each! At first I had plans of striping the backs or putting my logo in the little circle backs, BUT the more practical side of me started to talk and it said, "Kelle, you might have a client who needs these chairs some day, so you better leave them alone!"
Practical side won.

As for the pink and white ikat dot pillows.....I am a little in LOVE with them! Thanks a MILLION Mom!!
I fail to mention often enough how awesome my Mom is. She always swoops in to help me with my sewing projects AND with watching my daughter so that I can make fabulous homes happen! I really wouldn't know what to do without her. I have to figure out how to clone her, and my husband, and while I'm in the cloning business, I might as well clone my dog and my daughter as well. Heck, why not my fabulous client/assistant/good friend Heather too!!

Anyway, back to the office where cloning DOES NOT happen, this table is from Target...surprised??
The contrast between feminine and masculine is always a necessity and this little metal table does the trick!
The little vase....Crate and Barrel.....it goes by the name of Kiki. I find that name fitting.
And my favorite inspiring book collection; The Little Black Book of Style, by Nina Garcia; Living With What You Love, by Monica Rich Kosann; and Good Bones, Great Pieces, by Suzanne & Lauren McGrath. Now I just need to bring in a Tricia Guild design book and I'll be set!

To add a little more vintage whimsy, there is the vintage chandelier lamp from Embellished Heart, and it's twin sister may be coming to join her very soon!!

You know who else is awesome???
My hubs. He builds whatever I ask him to. He's my handyman/woodworking angel...who can, at times,  be mistaken for Marky Mark. I'm just sayin.

He built me this nice little box for these birch branches and now I have a nifty coat rack!
This girl = blessed!

AND last but not least, no space is complete without fresh flowers!

Thank you Summer's Garden of downtown Kenosha!!

There is so much more to come and I am so thankful and excited to be able to share with all of you!!

All the BEST!!

  5. I know that this was forever ago, but I'm going back through your blog looking for inspiration for work - THAT'S RIGHT! – and realized that I probably need that picture of Bailey for my desk. Will you send it to me digitally when you have a hot second? I LOVE YOU!
