I went digging again and earthed up this lovely grey and chartreuse damask at $3/yd!
And then I scored a matching grey cotton blend with the perfect sheen for $2.50/yd!
I am loving these colors together!
AND I LOVE how these fabrics go with a collection of buttons that I have been wanting to use.
It got me thinking about my ten dollar find from the Goodwill. Remember this:
This chair got me thinking about how I can transform it into something like this:
This GORGEOUS chair is by Celine Dupuy and I found it in this book:
I have wanted to do something similar to this chair since I saw it over three years ago. I have been collecting the buttons and I might just have enough to do something! We'll see if I can pull it off!
In Celine's book, Simple Sewing with a French Twist, she not only shares her beautiful projects, but gives you all the instructions you need. I highly recommend this book!
I just couldn't pass up these fabrics for that price and I thought I would share my inspiration! Hope you enjoy!
