A Little Progress....

My client's dining room is officially painted!

We are all loving the color!

Here's one with the lights on....

I must say, Hale Navy by Benjamin Moore, is one awesome color!! It can be casual, elegant, and is completely practical, like your favorite pair of jeans!

The accessories are coming in and we are having another piece of furniture painted. A china cabinet is getting a fresh coat of white, some bling, and some classic white dining pieces.

I also scored some great pieces for the walls at Marshalls...

$39.99 each!!
They are actually embroidered and double matted. Score! I'm just not in love with the frame color, but I have a solution for that!

And I am DYING for a chandelier like the one pictured here....

(from Cottage Living November 2007. OH how I miss that magazine!!!)

See what I mean?!? I'm on the hunt for a great deal!

I will keep you all updated as the room progresses.

Happy blogging!

  1. Gorgeousness!! I think I need to paint my whole house navy! Love the prints you found too.

  2. What a great shade against the bright white. I bought a sample of that color when we were choosing paint last year, it's such a nice, rich shade. Looking forward to seeing how your client's room comes together.

  3. I've been thinking of painting one of our rooms navy blue, and this color would be perfect! So happy you are all loving it, it looks GREAT!! I love that art too...such a good find!

  4. I love Navy! I have two sample colors that I have been playing with. And Cottage Living was my all-time favorite. I miss it!

  5. I painted my dining room hale navy by BM last year and I like the color but was trying to do some apple green as an accent color. My hubby and I just decided we're not feeling it. He suggested we repaint a lighter color but I wanted to try accenting with lots of white. We have a white chair rail and trim but that's it. I will be checking back to see how this all comes together!

  6. Hey there! Do you use Twitter? I'd like to follow you if that would be okay. I'm definitely enjoying
your blog and look forward to new updates.
