The Famous Ikea Hacks

You all have seen them explode over blog land...

It shouldn't come as a surprise that I will be creating my own version. 2 of them.

You see, I need more storage in my fabulous Audrey room for all of my supplies, but I still need the room to look like a guest bedroom.





While the pedestal tables are beautiful, they just aren't functional. The Ikea dressers are a perfect fit because they are actually "ok" quality (solid wood but with a flimsy backing) and can be customized to my liking. The total cost for two completed dressers will be somewhere around $90. 

I'm not sure who started this whole Ikea hack thing, but I love them for their genius! I wouldn't have thought of this on my own. In fact, I'm nearly certain that I would have gone down a much more complicated road that would have involved purchasing more supplies and inhaling more fumes than necessary.

I can't wait to get started on them!! They're in my basement waiting...

    It's really interesting to see how different people come up with new ways to give them a lift and they're all so different. I'm sure yours will be just as creative as these.

    obviously like your web site however you have to test the spelling on quite a few of your posts.
    A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I in finding it very troublesome to tell
    the reality then again I'll certainly come again again.
