I have a client who needs a nook.

Where they cook.

This is how I want their nook to look:

Any of these will do.

When you start speaking Dr.Suess style is that a sign that you have been spending too much time with your two year old?

Happy Labor Day!

  1. Very chic nook ideas. The last one if my favorite. I love the bench seating with lots of comfy cozy pillows and the white chairs. Good luck with your nook!

  2. Thanks for your sweet complement!
I love the nooks for your cook! I love the 3rd photo the best. Wish I had a nook area in my home :(
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  3. OMG, Kelle, you are too cute! You crack me up! XX!

  4. lol, LOVE the rhyming :) All of these nooks are fabulous!!

  5. This post is about 10 years too late for me :(
We had one of those short half walls in the kitchen of our last home and I never knew how to address it. Having a little area like the ones you've showed would have been ideal!

  6. Oh my gosh I was totally gong to call you dr. suess before I read the last little bit of your post! ha ha. Though, thank goodness, the nook doesn't look like something out of his book.

  7. Hi Kelle, great pictures, hard to choose the most beautiful.

By the way, i changed the blog's name. Now it's:

    Kiss, Carla

  8. hehehe, have you cracked out the green eggs yet? if not, you're ok.

would so love a nook myself!jxx

  9. I have a nook - just off the area where I cook. But it's such a tiny nook, we use it for sitting and reading a book.

  10. P.S. Thank you for your kind comment on my guest post at Housewife Bliss. You brought a smile to my face!

  11. The kiddie speak...reminds me of that visa commercial a few years back...lovin the look of the nook! xx

  12. i love all the pictures! i want a cozy nook corner someday too... when i finally get a pad of my own. your pictures definitely serve as an inspiration :)

Please do...don't be shy now! I love to hear your thoughts.
